GIVING TUESDAY

Help us keep our MOMENTUM as we move into 2024

by bringing Biblical Unity to others!

Giving Tuesday 2023 is November 28. We have set a goal of $17,000. We would also like to add 30 new Monthly Partners at the $100+ level to help fund our efforts in 2024.

Join Monique and Krista's efforts to bring hopeful, respectful, and biblically faithful conversations about race, justice, and unity to those who need help finding an alternative to secular approaches. CFBU is needed now more than ever before! Help us continue to be at the forefront of educating Christians about the dangers of the Critical Social Theories.

continue OUR momentum

We asked some of our family members to share why CFBU matters to them.

We ask you to prayerfully consider supporting us as we enter this new year of exciting ministry opportunities.

momentum

The theme of our Giving Tuesday campaign for 2023 is MOMENTUM. We are raising support for three pressing needs to help us expand our reach:

  • Send Monique on a two-week multi-city speaking tour in South Africa.

  • Expand our tabling presence at conferences and get CFBU's message in front of new audiences.

  • Add 30 new Monthly Partners at $100+ level to help us maintain our part-time staff that was funded by our 2021 Giving Tuesday campaign, as well as hire new part-time staff to assist Monique.

giving back

As you support our shared mission and vision on Giving Tuesday, we’d love to GIVE BACK to you in the following ways:

  • For your gift of any amount, you'll receive a link to a video training Monique and Krista did with Dr. HC Felder titled "Christianity: By White People? For White People?"

  • For your gift of $50 or more, you’ll receive a link to an exclusive video training titled “How Critical Theory is Being Used to Justify Radical Islam,” featuring Monique, Krista, and Dr. Neil Shenvi. This is a brand-new resource developed just for our Giving Tuesday donors.

  • For your gift of $75 or more, you’ll receive our exclusive video training and an invitation to participate in a live "Gratitude & Fellowship" party with Monique and Krista. This will be an informal time of sharing and connection. You can also ask Monique and Krista questions about the ministry. There are 100 seats available for this event. We’d love to see you there!

  • For your gift of $100 or more, you'll receive everything above, and a special CFBU–themed watercolor print titled "Unity in Christ" (see below). This beautiful 8" x 10" print comes matted and will be shipped directly to you.

Here is a sneak peek at Monique and Krista's exclusive training,

"How Critical Theory is Being Used to Justify Radical Islam."

Many people have been shocked in recent months to watch what appears to be a sudden rise in sympathy toward terrorist "resistance." These calls for "liberation" of the oppressed must be understood within the larger context of the Critical Social Theories. In this exclusive training, Monique and Krista provide a 60-minute crash course on how to understand the recent events in the Middle East and how the culture's call for "liberation" is something very different from the liberation Jesus has to offer.

What an exciting year 2023 has been for the Center for Biblical Unity! We’ve experienced exponential growth and are excited about the opportunities we have had to further the mission God has given us. If you gave to CFBU in 2023, then you played a direct role in our growth. Thank you for coming alongside us in this ministry! Here is a snapshot of some of what we have accomplished together.

Reach the Family

Monique's perspective on race and justice continues to be in high demand for speaking and media appearances. Being able to employ a part-time administrative assistant and part-time accountant helps to facilitate this process and provide accountability.

Here are a few highlights:

  • Presented at 23 in-person conferences and/or trainings, including being part of the new Truth Project through Focus on the Family and the Colson Center, a keynote presentation at the Southern Evangelical Seminary's national apologetics conference, a keynote presentation at the the national ACSI student leadership conference, and presentations for students at Summit Ministries and Impact 360.

  • Developed and released a CFBU mobile app for Apple and Android.

  • Made media appearances reaching over 100,000 people, including on The Fallen State, Focus on the Family magazine, and the Fearless podcast with Cissie Graham Lynch.

BUILD FOR the Family

2023 was a year marked by expansion. We had the opportunity to take a few big steps this year to help expand our reach. These included:

  • Wrote a full-length trade paperback, Walking in Unity (coming soon)

  • Produced a mini-doc about Monique and Krista's story (coming soon)

  • Produced a video curriculum aligned with the book, Walking in Unity (coming soon)

  • Added 3 new members to our Academic Advisory Council

equip the Family

A big part of our ministry time is spent developing new resources. We see education as a cornerstone for transforming the narrative about race and justice.

This year CFBU has equipped our others by:

  • Developed virtual trainings and events to help reach new audiences

  • Produced 70+ podcasts training followers about issues related to race, justice and unity

  • Generated 20 new articles on our website

  • Conducted 8 virtual book clubs on race, unity, and justice

  • Conducted 2 live courses to train future Christian leaders in biblical worldview thinking

  • Wrote and field tested a new two-day training that promotes CFBU's ethnic unity model

Find out how you can also support CFBU year-round by becoming a Monthly Partner.
