Our speaker team is available to address topics with biblical fidelity, honesty, humor, and grace in a shame-free environment. They are available to speak in-person or virtually at your weekend services, church conference, campus ministry group, school chapel service, and retreats.

Monique Duson
Co-founder & President

Chantal Monique Duson Is the co-founder and President at the Center for Biblical Unity. She has a background in social service and children’s ministry. She has worked with a diverse array of under-served communities. She worked as a Missionary to South Africa for over four years, serving children and teachers impacted by drugs, violence, and trauma. She spent two decades advocating for Critical Race Theory (CRT), but through a series of events, began to clearly see the contradictions of CRT with the historic Christian worldview. Monique is now convinced that CRT is not the best way to achieve racial unity and actively speaks out against the use of CRT within the church. Monique has a BA in Sociology from Biola University. She is working on a MA in Public Theology at Birmingham Theological Seminary.
Kevin Briggins
Managing Director & Off Code Podcast Host

Kevin Briggins is the co-host of the Off Code podcast and the Managing Director at the Center for Biblical Unity. He has a background in pastoral and local outreach ministry. He has a bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies and a 22 year career in the intelligence field, which provides him with a unique perspective on global events. Kevin was born and raised in the inner city of Birmingham, Alabama, and grew up within the American black cultural and church context. However, while serving as an elder in a Southern Baptist church he witnessed the devastating impact of critical race theory on the unity of the church. Kevin and his wife Shulonda have been married for over 15 years and have three daughters.

Krista Bontrager
Co-founder & Vice President

Krista Bontrager is the co-founder and Vice President at the Center for Biblical Unity. She is a fourth-generation Bible teacher. She is an author, podcaster, adjunct seminary professor and former homeschool mom. Krista has a BA in Communications (radio/TV/film) from Biola University, MA in Theology, and MA in Bible Exposition from Talbot School of Theology. She has worked for three decades in various capacities in theology and apologetics, and has a Doctor of Ministry in Public Theology and Apologetics from Birmingham Theological Seminary.
We offer workshops and full-day trainings on a variety of issues related to race, queer theory, and justice for churches, Christian schools (K-12), ministries and Christian colleges. In everything we do, we foster an atmosphere of biblical truth and grace as participants investigate what is hindering open and honest conversations about race, and learn how to lead others in biblically-focused and unifying conversations. Experiential exercises help offer a real-time look into our experiences, thoughts, and fears in a shame-free environment.
Perhaps you need help writing a position statement on race and justice for your organization. Or you need help defining key terms involved in the discussion. Maybe your school needs to review its dress code policy to make sure it is fair for all. Or, maybe you need help revising your process to better screen applicants for biblical fidelity when hiring new staff. Whatever your needs, we'll come alongside your team to develop policies that will support your goals for racial unity.
